ATTENTION...

The office is OPEN and we are seeing patients.
We are following the CDC & American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommendations during this pandemic and are trying to reserve our AM appointments for well patients and PM appointments for sick patients.

DUE TO COVID –19, WE ARE PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. WHEN YOU ARRIVE, HAVE ONE PERSON CHECK IN AT THE DESK AND RETURN TO YOUR CARS. WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN WE ARE READY FOR YOU TO COME IN.

2. WITH EACH PATIENT, WE ARE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. IF YOU ARE NOT A PARENT/GUARDIAN, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REMAIN IN YOUR CARS.

3. IF YOU HAVE COUGH, FEVER OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYONE WITH COVID -19, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING! REMAIN IN YOUR CAR & CALL THE OFFICE FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
DO NOT LEAVE THE PREMISES. 229-903-4044

4. WHEN YOU DO COME IN THE BUILDING, PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE WINDOWS AT THE FRONT DESK.

WE ARE WORKING HARD TO KEEP THE BUILDING CLEAN, STAY HEALTHY AND REMAIN OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Thanks,
Dr. Tania Smith & Staff

Please do your part and practice social distancing, and limit the use of urgent care centers and the emergency room.  With the exception of life threatening conditions, it is best to contact your primary care provider’s office(including outside of office hours), prior to seeking medical help.

Prestige Pediatrics will take precautionary measures to protect our patients and families. COVID-19 is a rapidly, evolving situation and we will continue to follow the most current recommendations and protocols issued by the CDC, Georgia Department of Public Health, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Symptoms of COVID-19 infections are similar to those of a lower respiratory infection to include fever, cough and shortness of breath.  Call us immediately prior to visiting the office if your child develops symptoms and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 OR have recently traveled from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19.  Patients displaying symptoms of the virus will be required to wear masks.
